6:00 AM: It was difficult to hit the hay last night as my 6 mile run must have kept me wide awake thus I am awakened by my alarm and I get ready for the day.  I look up the weather and it looks like it’s going to rain so I decide to put on my happy, cheerful, & colorful “it’s going to rain” outfit for my photo shoot today for LiketoKnow.it.  Alan Flusser, IZOD, Calvin Klein, Jos. A Bank, & Brooks Running are all the brand partners in these shots.

6:45 AM: As I head to Grounded Coffee I walk by a movie set prepping for the scene at Blenheim Cafe on the corner of 12th & 4th. At first I think about heading straight to them to ask about being a part of the crew and/or actors list but then decide not to bother and get my breakfast and day started.

7:02 AM: I have my usual Breakfast Sausage Wrap & a small black cup of coffee.  I then head back to the set just to see what I can do to introduce myself.  I speak with a kind person whom asks me to return post-set up to speak with someone about getting involved.  I set a time for 9:30 AM in my calendar to head back and head back to Grounded Coffee.

7:45 AM: I write my Backstage actors URL https://www.backstage.com/u/george-field on the front and back of my business card just to be ready.  Now it’s back to the awesome work day.

11:29 AM: At Cafe Panino Mucho Giusto someone asked me if I were a designer and am flattered.  It also sparked an idea.  I wonder if it’s because of the colorful outfit I chose today?

12:44 PM: After publishing my latest LiketoKnow.it post https://www.instagram.com/p/ByAwvBkn1RZ/ I am looking forward to upgrading my wardrobe this summer.  With careful budgeting and choosing the right apparel for the right prices, I’m getting the sense that this season of clothes will be the best one yet.  I have a fantastic Chicken Salad Wrap at Cafe Panino Mucho Giusto and head over to Joe & The Juice to continue my work day.

1:42 PM: I run into a woman who’s fashions were stunning and I compliment her on them.  She was delighted to hear.  I wanted to ask what the fashions were but I also wanted to be polite so I continued on my way.  This is my first time visiting Joe & The Juice and I love it.  The space is big which is a big deal in The City, good vibes music as some play dark or heavy music, reasonable prices (a small drip cup of coffee is $3.47 with tax), plenty of cushioned seating (that’s a big one), outlets, great service, and tons of room for my legs to stretch out at the tables.  Front door is left wide open for constant fresh air and a great view for Hudson St & Perry St.  Heads up: the row of outlets on the left side are turned off.  If this is done on purpose, it’s understandable to keep the customer visits flowing.  Another note to remember is that the outlets in the back do work.

2:06 PM:  Apple releases their iOS 12.3.1 software update for iPhones and update on an iPhone XS Max 512GB takes about fifteen minutes.

4:30 PM: The sun has come out after a long day of overcast and rain. This always makes me happy. A small part of me desires to strike another photoshoot for Liketoknow.it with the sun shining but remind myself tomorrow: another day another outfit opportunity.  I wrap up work and head to 14 Station to take the 1 to Columbus Circle to run my six mile mighty run in Central Park. I’m looking forward to memorizing The City so I can continue to look down at my phone less and look up at its constant beauty.

5:30 PM I hit the trail and it’s another beautiful evening in the city. There’s a boat competition at Kerb’s Boathouse and the remote controlled sail boats are gorgeous on the water. While running past New York University Institute of Fine Arts I was amazed to see a beautiful penthouse with their floor to ceiling library visible to the naked eye.  I saw a baby sleeping hard in one of those front facing well, baby holders in on a parent and it made me smile.  I saw neighbors smiling, the carriage riders taking a break from tourists laughing with each other at a stop telling stories, and a Dad recording his kid what looked like the first time they were riding their bike with training wheels and of course with a helmet.  This is such a beautiful city with such constant change & I love it.  More to come.  -JoJo
