11:50 AM: Just read an interesting article on AirBnB making a comeback by renting out a portion of Rockefeller Center that holds no law against “hotel leasing”. The current law regarding AirBnB in Manhattan is that unless the tenant is living there, the AirBnB booking must be at least thirty days long or longer.
AirBnB has started a pilot light of luxury potentials such as AirBnB Plus+ in which the top glamorous AirBnB’s are promoted in addition to the recent Rockefeller plans. It’s a battle between two giants that seems to go on forever. Will there ultimately be a resolution between “The City” and “The Service”? It’s just a matter of time.More to come! -JoJo
