I love California and one of my favorite things to do there is to throw on a tux from FriarTux for Oscar Weekend. Heading to Rodeo Drive is always exciting, especially for a photo shoot. One of the primary reasons I am a Rodeo Drive fan is the fashion. From Tiffany, Versace, and Gucci, to Ralph Lauren and Saint Laurent there are plenty of luxury fashions to choose from. One does not have to buy when visiting Rodeo Drive, simply browsing is just as fun as buying and I get the greatest ideas when browsing. Ideas are priceless! During this trip I am reading Donald Trump’s Art of the Deal & if you’d like to buy it, just click his book below! Have a super day! -JoJo’s Jots

Good morning. Today is a beautiful day! Here are some love tips for anyone in a relationship as well as single:
- Generally people speak what’s called a “Love Language” and it’s critical to know what one’s partner’s language is. Otherwise, this can turn into what I call “Wall Talk” AKA talking to a wall. Not a lot gets done and I can hear myself echo. Once one discovers their partners love language, it’s a whole different world for both.
- The five love languages are:
- Receiving Gifts
- Quality Time
- Words of Affirmation
- Acts of Service
- Physical Touch
- If one truly loves their partner, speak their language, not one’s own.
- Surprise! Love is a primary human emotional need and there’s a “love tank” that most people have. It’s important to keep it full.
- If one does not receive proper love from childhood, they may become emotionally and socially challenged as an adult. It’s important to give extra comfort to them when this is known.

Bitter cold? No problem. I love all seasons come rain or shine. I actually prefer change, even if it’s freezing weather or scorching sun. My mind is always yearning for something new, something special, and something different. Since this is the case, going for a jog and listening to a new audio book as often as possible keeps me refreshed, excited, and ready for the day. Especially since the founding of Klyde Warren Park, Dallas is becoming more of a megalopolis than ever before with even more things to do including The Perot Museum.
Every month that zooms by my timeline I am amazed at how fast this city is growing and the phenomenal landmarks that are being established that bring even more people, opportunities, and upgrades to this great city. If one is wondering, the Perot Museum is a natural history and science museum that has quite the architectural eye-candy and is great for all ages. Even better, the Perot Museum is a great spot for a photo shoot, especially when I’ve purchased a new pair of gorgeous Brooks Levitate 2 (Tan/Brown/Wood) Men’s Running Shoes. These golden beauties are super soft to the touch yet super tough to the stomp on the concrete with my super flat feet. I love how the rubber at the bottom outside edges is super soft and the textures surrounding the laces are soft as Egyptian cotton. I’m amazed that these materials have been implemented into a running shoe so beautifully and well designed.
There’s no question that this pair doesn’t disappoint. With smooth fabric lining that givers that great in-shoe feel and DNA Amp midsole featuring polyurethane foam that’s wrapped in a TPU skin, there’s no reason not to grab these guys while they last. Sometimes it can be tough to break in new running shoes but with these beauties, I can just hop right in them and hop right outside and enjoy the glorious daily runs I take through this beautiful ever-changing city. I must admit that this pair of running shoes may actually be making JoJo’s runs more fun than ever before and may even be enhancing my focus on listening to my audio books while I run!

I walk every day and it’s sometimes passes my mind that it’s always important to wear good shoes and not just for running. Most of my walking involves walking around uptown, downtown, and the Victory Park areas as well as my fave shopping center in Dallas: Highland Park Village. I’ve come to realize how much of a walking city Dallas is as long as one is in the right location.
When visiting Dallas I recommend staying in areas like the one’s mentioned above as one will get the most out of their walking and of course sight-see. One of the perks of visiting Victory Park (or living there for that matter) is that there is the glorious Katy Trail which is 3.5 miles of beautiful walking and jogging on both concrete and asphalt. Perhaps one can stop by the Katy Trail Ice House for a bite with friends before taking off again on another jog.
One of the really cool parts of the Katy Trail is that during the day, business men in suits will take a stroll while giant Great Danes will also pass me by. The trail has brought together so many people (and animals) which makes a great landmark to visit for the city. Interesting fact: The Katy Trail was once an abandoned railroad.
Walking in style and comfort is so important and that’s why I’ve purchased these Brooks Men’s Addiction Walker Walking Shoes. Not only do they look mighty manly, they also are incredibly comfortable, look great, and most importantly support my flat feet which supports my knees, hips, back, and posture. This pair has an incredible amount of support for those super low arches and extra control for that over-pronation. Although casual, these shoes are full grain leather and provide excellent durability.
These guys have HydroFlow® technology that greatly enhances midsole cushioning and of course shock absorption which is especially helpful on those concrete surfaces. I’m all about progressive pronation control and durability in which this pair definitely has those qualities. This is not my first pair of Brooks shoes nor will it be my last! Will all of these photo shoots around town it’s important to recognize that even though one may be using the Apple Cloud backup service to backup their computer, some have the feature turned off, are unaware of the feature, or have a huge amount of their precious memories on external hard drives connected to their computers. This is where Backblaze comes in to play. For just $5.00 a month for unlimited backup for one’s computer and their external hard drives (excluding backup hard drives), one’s data is completely backed up and simply set and forget just like a turkey on Thanksgiving.
This is especially helpful for users who are on PC’s. It’s super secure and has been recommended by The Verge, Macworld, TNW, LifeHacker, Tom’s Guide, Lifewire, Re/Code, Daring Fireball, Accidental Tech, as well as Technical Therapist™ (that’s me!). So stop worrying and start backing up in style with the easiest backup solution to date.
Speaking of style, I’m wearing my fave Sunday Funday Jos A Bank attire. Feel free to screenshot the pic to shop it in the LiketoKnow.it app. More to come! -JJJ
